Ein Blick vom Schauinsland (Holzschlägermatte, Südschwarzwald) über die Rheinebene zu den Vogesen bei Inversionswetterlage. Die "Insel", die im Nebelmeer zu sehen ist, ist Horben. A view from the Schauinsland (Holzschlägermatte, Southern Black Forest) across the Rhine Valley to the Vosges mountains during an inversion weather situation. The “island” visible in the sea of fog is Horben.

Sangliers ou place de brame ?
AntwortenLöschenSangliers. Asterix and Obelix would be happy!
AntwortenLöschenLe sol est marécageux. They obviously like to rummage through there looking for food and "take a bath". We have many of them here, and sometimes they rummage through a garden.
I don't know if it's a place de brame, too. I think, the place is too small for it.
Place de brâme, endroit où les cerfs viennent se battre pour gagner les faveurs des biches. Voir ce blog sur le mien.

Very good photos on that site! Here there are wide clearings higher in the mountains, where they are roaring and fighting. I couldn't see traces of deer at that small place I show on the photo. But the more traces of wild boars. The soil was really ploughed.
AntwortenLöschenI remember a night in a winter some years ago, when a complete family of wild boars was in our garden: they ate noisily the apples (we had left there for the birds). You could hear them grunt happily. :-)
