Frohe Ostern * Happy Easter * Joyeuses Pâques Und hier also das Kalenderblatt für den April. And this is the calendar page for April. A speckled wood butterfly (Pararge aegeria) has landed on my shoe and is enjoying the sunshine.

AntwortenLöschenYour beginning of spring shouts out that nature still abounds. I have yet to see my first butterfly, although buds are starting to open.

LöschenThe butterfly was one of the very first I saw!
Also is our mirabell tree every year the first one to bloom, while the others are having buds only.
Sudenly it's Spring! Lovely pictures.

Calendula
Your pictures capture the wonder of early spring days and make me very happy. Flowers are lovely and The red butterfly is stunning ... I have never seen one like it in real life!
AntwortenLöschenThank you, Sallie!
LöschenThe butterfly is called "European peacock butterfly" (Aglais io). They are common here.
Happy Easter!
AntwortenLöschenHappy Easter to you. Our Cherry Blossom appeared this weekend too.
